Privacy Policy

Effective October 16, 2026

CHOICE MINI MARKET develops and publishes the Darius apps under the Odarius brand. This policy covers Darius POS, Darius Teams, Darius KDS, Darius Staff and Darius Driver and their use of the Odarius service. Restaurants using the service operate their own workspaces.

When you use a Darius app, contact a restaurant through an enabled messaging channel, or place an order, we process only the information needed to provide that service.

Information we process

This may include your name, telephone number, messages, order details, delivery or pickup information, payment status, and technical records needed for security and delivery confirmation. Payment-card details are handled by the enabled payment provider and are not stored in messages.

How it is used

We use information to answer messages, fulfil and update orders, provide requested support, prevent fraud, maintain service records, and comply with applicable law. We do not sell personal information.

Service providers

When a business enables a messaging, hosting, database, email, or payment provider, that provider processes only the data needed to operate the selected service. Their processing is governed by their respective terms and privacy commitments.

Optional website analytics

The Darius apps do not load Google Analytics or Meta Pixel. A restaurant may separately enable Google Analytics 4, Meta Pixel, or both on its public hosted website. They stay off until a visitor chooses “Accept analytics.” If accepted, Google Analytics may receive pseudonymous page and session activity, approximate location, and browser and device information, and may set first-party _ga cookies. Meta Pixel may receive page-view activity, the page address, browser and device information, and Meta cookie identifiers where present so the restaurant can measure visits and campaigns. The choice is stored in that browser for that restaurant website and can be changed through “Analytics choices.” Declining does not affect ordering. The restaurant controls these connections and properties; Google and Meta process analytics data under their respective Google Privacy Policy and Meta Privacy Policy.

Retention and choices

We retain operational records only as long as reasonably necessary for service, accounting, security, and legal obligations. You may ask to access, correct, or delete eligible personal information. Some transaction records may need to be retained where the law requires it.

The Odarius apps

Darius POS, Teams, KDS, Staff and Driver draw their own native screens and exchange the information needed for their roles with the Odarius service. Signing in uses the workspace and PIN the business issued, or a business account.

Camera and photos: when you choose to use these features, POS can photograph or attach delivery notes and paid bills, Teams can capture documents for Books Inbox, Staff can attach selected photos to repair reports, and Driver can photograph a delivered order as proof of delivery. These files are sent to the relevant business workspace. Driver doorstep photos are kept only as long as the delivery address and removed with it. POS product barcode entry can use a hardware scanner; it is separate from document photography.

Microphone and speech on iOS: supported POS builds let you record an order when you choose. POS audio is transcribed on the device and is not uploaded; the recording is deleted after successful transcription or when discarded. One failed recording may be kept locally for troubleshooting until replaced. Teams dictation uses Apple's speech-recognition service, which may process audio on the device or through Apple depending on the feature, device and language. Text you choose to save or submit is processed in the business workspace.

Device location: the native apps do not request device location. A delivery address or a location typed into a repair report is information you provide, not device tracking.

Local network: POS uses the local network to discover and connect to supported receipt printers. Device unlock: biometric checks are handled by the operating system; the apps receive the result, not your fingerprint or face template.

Notifications: if you enable notifications, a device token is stored to deliver them and removed when they are turned off or you sign out. The apps contain no advertising and no third-party tracking or analytics. A business can remove a staff member's account, which removes their sign-in and device tokens; time and sales records the business must keep by law remain in that business's records.
